CODE OF CONDUCT
On June 1st, 2023, the Director of Detech Coffee Joint Stock Company issued the Company’s Code of Conduct for Corporate Culture. This Code aims to establish ethical standards of conduct and serve as a guiding principle for all employees in carrying out their professional duties and daily interactions. The Code of Conduct contributes to maintaining and enhancing internal solidarity, fostering customer and community trust in Detech Coffee.
CODE OF CONDUCT FOR CORPORATE CULTURE
INTRODUCTION
The Code of Conduct for Corporate Culture (CCCC) of Detech Coffee Joint Stock Company (Detech Coffee) is a document that implements the company’s culture. It establishes ethical standards of conduct and serves as a guiding principle for all employees in the company when performing their professional duties and daily interactions.
The Code aims to promote order and civility in organizational communication, enabling each individual within the team to fully realize their potential and contribute to the sustainable development of Detech Coffee.
Furthermore, the CCCC Code of Conduct contributes to building Detech Coffee’s distinctive culture, creating a brand, and enhancing Detech Coffee reputation within the domestic and international community.
To meet the development needs accurately, the Board of Directors and Detech Coffee leadership team have high expectations regarding the sense of responsibility in conduct and integrity from employees, customers, suppliers, service providers, and other partners of Detech Coffee.
Through this Code, Detech Coffee aims to express its perspective on the definition of “Corporate Social Responsibility,” where the interests of the business community must align with the rights of society and strive for long-term and sustainable development.
PART 1
WORK CULTURE
1. Work Responsibility
- Always maintain a high sense of responsibility towards assigned tasks and the company’s overall objectives.
- Each individual is fully accountable for the content, results, and progress of their assigned work.
2. Work Passion
- Maintain a positive outlook when performing tasks, viewing challenges as opportunities to demonstrate personal capabilities.
3. Proactiveness at Work
- Proactively study work according to individual roles and responsibilities, without waiting for assignments from superiors. Actively seek guidance from leaders and collaborate with colleagues.
4. Creativity at Work
- Continuously seek optimal solutions when addressing new issues, carefully analyzing and evaluating before implementation. For significant matters, consult with leaders before proceeding.
5. Work Discipline
- Strictly adhere to established procedures, regulations, and assigned roles and authorities.
6. Work Standards
- Promptly and efficiently address the requirements of superiors, customers, partners, and colleagues. Organize work scientifically, prioritize tasks, and utilize time effectively to complete assignments.

I. Internal Communication and Conduct Standards
1. Conduct with Superiors
- Comply with leadership decisions and strive to accomplish assigned tasks.
- Respect the opinions of leaders; when providing feedback, do so directly and constructively.
- Demonstrate appropriate roles and positions within the organization.
2. Conduct with Subordinates
- Maintain a balance between professional seriousness and friendly social relationships.
- Understand and support subordinates in their work and personal lives, creating opportunities for them to enhance their professional capabilities.
- Treat subordinates fairly and provide timely encouragement to help them perform their duties effectively.
3. Conduct with Colleagues
- Always exhibit respect, friendliness, and approachability. Proactively cooperate, support, and share with colleagues to accomplish collective goals.
II. External Communication and Conduct Standards
1. Conduct with Customers
- Always demonstrate respect, courtesy, and equality when interacting with customers.
- Practice the “Four Courtesies” when communicating with customers: Greet – Ask Permission – Apologize – Thank.
- Satisfactorily addressing and resolving customer requests is the responsibility of all Detech Coffee employees.
- Communicate attentively, sincerely, and appropriately, with a customer-centric mindset and readiness to meet their needs.
- Continuously enhance knowledge and stay updated on the latest product and service information, providing thorough guidance when customers have inquiries.
- Listen to customers, understand their concerns, and strive to meet their needs through a spirit of cooperation and sharing.
2. Conduct with Partners
- Build relationships with partners based on principles of equal cooperation, mutual respect, and a commitment to long-term and mutually beneficial growth.
- Conduct business in compliance with legal requirements and respect the rights and interests of all parties.
3. Conduct with the Community
- Ensure that all Detech Coffee activities harmonize the interests of the company, community, and society.
- In business operations, prioritize safety measures for employees and local communities.
- Provide comprehensive information and advisory services to the community on the proper use of the company’s products and services.
- Organize “Green – Clean – Beautiful” campaigns to create a positive environment within and around the company premises.
PART 3
SPECIFIC REGULATIONS FOR IMPLEMENTING CORPORATE CULTURE
1. Dress Code
– Work attire must comply with Detech Coffee’s regulations.
2. Communication Guidelines
– Communicate politely, appropriately, respectfully, and with equality.
3. Introduction Guidelines
- Provide full name and position when introducing oneself.
- Introduce higher-ranking individuals and members of the organization before guests.
4. Customer Telephone Communication Culture
- Telephone lines must be in optimal condition, with designated staff available to answer calls by the third ring.
- Observe proper communication etiquette and address customers politely over the phone. Begin with: “Company name, how may I assist you?”
- Listen attentively, understand customer requests, summarize, and confirm information to avoid misunderstandings.
- Respond concisely and clearly, avoiding prolonged arguments.
- If accurate information is unavailable, apologize and schedule a specific time to respond. Never provide customers with inaccurate information.
PART 4
REGULATIONS ON LEGAL COMPLIANCE, NON-DISCRIMINATION, GENDER EQUALITY, CHILD LABOR, FORCED LABOR, VIOLENCE, AND HARASSMENT
1. Legal Compliance
- Detech Coffee is committed to complying with the laws and regulations of the countries where it operates and adhering to the social norms of those nations.
- Detech Coffee commits to not engaging in any business activities with countries under comprehensive sanctions.
2. Gender Equality and Non-Discrimination
- Detech Coffee is committed to gender equality in labor allocation, without discrimination.
- Equal pay for work of equal value.
- Providing equal opportunities for women and men.
- All individuals have the right to fully exercise their human rights, contribute, and benefit from the company’s achievements, such as rewards, promotions, and advancement.
- Maternity leave for female employees.
- Pregnant, postpartum, and nursing employees are not required to perform strenuous work.
3. Child Labor
- Detech Coffee does not accept child labor within the company or its business partners, regardless of location or applicable laws.
- Detech Coffee strictly adheres to national and Detech Coffee standards and maintains legal documentation proving that all employees meet the minimum legal working age.
4. Forced Labor
- Detech Coffee does not change working terms/conditions without employee consent, force overtime, require excessive or involuntary overtime, reduce living or working conditions, restrict freedom to terminate employment, withhold or underpay wages.
- Detech Coffee does not engage in violence or threats, physical confinement, movement or communication restrictions, fines or financial penalties, deprivation of food, water, sanitation, or basic needs, forced isolation, drug/alcohol coercion, debt bondage or manipulation, advance payments or loans, wage withholding or delays, retention of personal documents or valuables, or threats of dismissal, deportation, legal action, or reporting to authorities.
5. Violence and Harassment
Detech Coffee strictly prohibits:
- Threats, verbal or written communication, or physical contact intended to harm others.
- A work environment where individuals feel humiliated or threatened due to others’ behavior.
- Physical violence, unwanted touching, or unnecessary physical proximity.
- Verbal comments or questions about an individual’s appearance, lifestyle, or sexual orientation.
- Offensive phone calls or messages.
PART 5
OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY
Detech Coffee places great importance on the health and safety of its staff and employees by providing a healthy, safe, and humane work environment. Personal standards for safety and health in the workplace are always a top priority. Continuous efforts are made to improve working conditions through regular assessments, inspections, and documentation of potential changes that may impact employee health and safety.
PART 6
CONFLICT OF INTEREST, ANTI-CORRUPTION, ANTI-MONEY LAUNDERING
Detech Coffee acts in the best interest of Detech Coffee Joint Stock Company and clearly distinguishes between the company’s interests and personal interests. Detech Coffee strives to avoid even the slightest conflict of interest. Detech Coffee makes decisions based on reasonable business considerations, in compliance with the law and general societal standards.
In business relationships, Detech Coffee strictly adheres to regulations against corruption, bribery, commercial fraud, and money laundering. Detech Coffee is committed to not accepting gifts or gratuities, or engaging in activities that create conflicts of interest. Detech Coffee absolutely does not accept, request, or facilitate bribery through illegal payments and gifts to individuals that do not provide value to the company and may harm its legitimate interests.
Detech Coffee is committed to participating in the National Action Plan on Anti-Money Laundering, Combating the Financing of Terrorism, and the Financing of Weapons of Mass Destruction Proliferation. Additionally, Detech Coffee pledges to cooperate and coordinate with relevant authorities to prevent such activities.
PART 7
CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION HANDLING
Detech Coffee are responsible for maintaining confidentiality regarding all company-related matters and preventing information leaks. This provision also applies to feedback information received by Detech Coffee from third parties. Confidential information must not be used arbitrarily for the purposes of any individual or third party. Detech Coffee Board of Directors must be notified of significant changes or concerns during emergencies.
It is strictly prohibited for individuals with access to insider information to use this information as a basis for buying, selling, or transferring related stocks. Detech Coffee internal legal guidelines provide clear instructions on handling the responsibility of managing insider information.
PART 8
ENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSIBILITY
Detech Coffee’s carefully considers the environmental impact of its business activities at all stages, including the processes and procedures for the delivery of goods, raw materials, and products between the company and customers or suppliers. Detech Coffee has set goals and preventive measures for the future, while promoting the use of environmentally friendly technologies and systematic, continuous improvements in environmental efficiency.
Compliance with current regulations and laws is the minimum requirement. Detech Coffee strives to cooperate closely with business partners on shared responsibilities for ecosystem protection and actively promotes initiatives to raise environmental awareness among employees.
