Founded in 2018, Detech Coffee, a female-led enterprise based in Son La, Vietnam, ranks as the 4th largest coffee producer in the North region. Our commitment lies in promoting the Son La origin, producing high-quality Arabica coffee, and fostering sustainability and gender equality.
At Detech Coffee, we practice intercropping Arabica coffee with macadamia, leucaena, and lumber trees. This approach not only boosts biodiversity but also significantly reduces our carbon footprint. Our global partnerships are instrumental in introducing climate-resilient coffee varieties to Son La, further enhancing our sustainable practices.
Our operations extend beyond Son La, with an office situated in Hanoi, Vietnam. Our processing facilities include a wet mill in Son La for initial processing and a dry factory in Hung Yen for final manufacturing.

We offer a diverse range of Arabica coffee products, catering to various quality standards and certification requirements. Our product categories include:
Our proficiency in the coffee industry has earned us partnerships with numerous customers globally, including in the United States, Germany, France, England, China, India, Japan, Italy, and more. Detech Coffee is committed to establishing a robust network of farmers certified by 4C and Rainforest Alliance (RA). Our goal is to build a sustainable, transparent supply chain that meets the most rigorous demands of the global coffee market.

Our foundation is built on the aspiration for a sustainable coffee community, making tangible contributions to human and social development.
Currently, Detech Coffee collaborates with approximately 7,500 farming households, 90% of whom belong to the Tai Dam and H’Mong ethnic minorities in Vietnam’s Northwest. These farmers receive comprehensive training and support to implement sustainable agricultural practices, promote gender equality, ensure labor safety, and comply with international regulations such as the EUDR (EU Deforestation Regulation).
Since our inception, Detech Coffee has stood side-by-side with these farmers, supplying thousands of tons of certified green coffee beans annually to international markets. Beyond offering stable purchasing prices, we provide performance-based premiums for certified yields, significantly boosting local incomes and fostering long-term motivation for sustainable development within the coffee-growing community.
Detech Coffee is a founding member and a long-term sustainable partner of the International Women’s Coffee Alliance (IWCA Vietnam). Established in 2019, IWCA Vietnam’s mission is to empower female coffee farmers to improve their livelihoods and promote a sustainable coffee ecosystem in Vietnam. Through networking, training, and knowledge-sharing, IWCA Vietnam focuses on capacity building and expanding economic opportunities for women throughout the coffee industry.

As a strategic partner, Detech Coffee actively participates in network activities to enhance the role and participation of women across the entire coffee value chain, from production and processing to trade. These initiatives help build a strong platform connecting female farmers, businesses, and industry organizations, driving the sustainable growth of the coffee sector.
