The 2023 International Cuisine Festival takes place on the afternoon of December 10, and is an annual event organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The event has become a prominent cultural, culinary and charity exchange destination in Hanoi. The highlight of this year's event is the largest number of booths ever.
Nearly 150 booths of embassies, foreign cultural centers, foreign affairs departments representing provinces, cities, businesses and units in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs attended. Activities within the framework of the event include: introducing typical cuisine of Vietnam and other countries; cultural and artistic exchange; display and sell local specialties; charity.

In recent years, the Organizing Committee has used the money raised to build Binh Thuan Kindergarten, Binh Thuan commune, Yen Bai province; support bridge construction in Long An province; charity at Ethnic Boarding School, Ma Le Primary School, Dong Van district, Ha Giang province; charity at Vinh Phuc Secondary School; Ha Cau Orphanage Center, Ha Dong; building classrooms at Thanh Xa High School, Phu Tho; bridge construction in Ben Tre province; and many charity programs in remote and difficult regions across the country.
Taking place annually since 2014, the International Cuisine Festival has become a "brand" of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in creating a playground for countries to exchange cultures and enhance mutual understanding. At the same time, introduce the country and people of Vietnam to friends from other countries.
